Supporting the community

For almost 15 years, I have been personally involved in a program where a portion of my commission from each transaction is donated to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

Proceeds from my individual donations remain locally and support our Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis Centre. With your support I once again was honoured to be in the TOP 10% DONOR category in 2023.  Thank you for supporting my business with your real estate needs, as this allows me to also help support our community through this program.

Together, we are giving abused women and their children hope for a better future by helping them rebuild their lives today by bringing safety, hope and new beginnings to women and children in our community who have experienced violence and abuse.

Safe Shelter & Housing For All


As real estate professionals, we proudly dedicate our working lives to helping you find the foundation from which you can build your future. But we know a house is only a home when the people who live there feel safe, loved and accepted. Unfortunately, there are thousands of women and children across Canada who do not have that privilege.  On any given day in Canada, it is estimated that more than 3,000 women (and their children) are living in an emergency shelter to escape domestic violence.

Whether through donating a portion of our commissions, volunteering our time or hosting local fundraising events, Royal LePage REALTORS® are dedicated to providing safe housing for all. We are proud to be working with women’s shelters to bring hope and security to women and children experiencing violence and abuse. With our national partners, including Canadian Women’s Foundation and Women’s Shelters Canada, we are part of a movement to end domestic violence in Canada through prevention and education, including funding teen healthy relationship programs. Because we are committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work, Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company with its own charitable foundation.

Since its founding in 1998, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation has proudly grown to become the largest public foundation in Canada dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention.
