The Neighbourhood: ARKELL - PUSLINCH - RURAL PUSLINCH EAST

The home at 856 Watson Road South is located in the town of Arkell in the township of Puslinch, Ontario, and is approximately two (2) kilometres east of Guelph city limits.

In 1863, Arkell was named after Englishman Thomas Arkell who settled there in 1830.  A noteworthy landmark is the Arkell Spring grounds, which run north-east of the village and produce several fresh water springs along the Eramosa River.
